I was talking to my Dad on the phone, sharing my troubles about the roaches we have here in this awful hellhole apartment, and he started laughing. “That reminds me of one of the times I was in the Soviet Union,” he started. He said he put a candy bar on the other side of the room so the roaches would be over there and not near his bed.

Now, that’s all fine and dandy, but what gets me is the worst part. “You know, it was kind of cool, you could hear the candy wrapper crinkling” – I cut him off there. So gross, so gross, so gross!!!

But kind of a good idea.
