    Good Friday links

    April 6, 2012

Hope everyone had a fantastic Holy Week! There’s some wonderful things I want to share with you today, but first off I need to know who else devoured all three of The Hunger Games books after seeing the movie, because I know I’m not the only one. I cried at least twice per book!! Not the best writing, but definitely a great story.

Speaking of crying, have you seen this? It made my heart so happy, so see their joy, their excitement. Truly beautiful! I’m so glad they have this moment on film to look back on, to share with their child one day. I am not the least bit ashamed to admit I cried right along with them. Did you?

Over on Beth Mathews blog, she talks about reading The Secret Life of Bees (I think I need to read this now!) and whether or not she’s striving to be the woman she wants to be. Check out what else she says, it’s quite poignant and made me reflect on my own life and who I want to be.

    Molly Jaques
Jo posted some pieces by Molly Jaques today that take my breath away. I’ve seen her work before, but I still can’t get over how fluid and beautiful it is.

Breanna and Cassie have started a bi-monthly series called Branding Backwards, and this one they did for Mignon Kitchen Co. is seriously fantastic. Actually, this other one for Anthropologie is pretty amazing too.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, when not in full gear for Easter, check out this sweet DIY from Miss Samanatha Lamb! I would love to do this in my house, but I need to find the perfect spot first.

Wild Violets in Vase from Early Bird Acres Revelation 21:4

Last, but not least, Danni wrote a beautiful post about Good Friday. I wanted to share this one last, so it will sink in the best. This is the most important thing today, every day really, and since she’s far better with words than I am, I hope you’ll check it out.

I wish the best for all y’all & hope you have a lovely Easter!
